The matte finish is spray-painted with professional matte paint and requires extra handwork to achieve a perfectly smooth finish — this is why it costs an additional €5.

Aesthetic matching
Some helmets have a matte finish, some gloss. Choosing the matching mount finish helps your mount blend seamlessly with your helmet. Both finishes are carefully designed to match popular helmet colors.
⚠️ Tip for adhesive replacement: Matte mounts are more textured. If you ever need to replace the adhesive, be aware that removing old adhesive from a matte mount is more difficult than from a gloss mount due to the finish.
